Hey!

My name is John, and I am a wedding photographer and filmmaker based in the small town of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. I have been capturing weddings since 2018, and I am passionate about creating natural, candid, and timeless photos and films that will be cherished for generations.

I describe my style as relaxed and unobtrusive, and that I want my clients to feel like we are more like an extension of your bridal party, just a couple of buddies hanging out with you all day, celebrating with you and documenting all of the moments.

I'm a husband, a father to two crazy boys (one of which is a Golden Retriever), and a lover of music, video games and professional wrestling

If you're looking for a wedding photographer and filmmaker who will capture your day in a natural and candid way, and who will also be a friendly and supportive presence throughout the planning process, then I would love to hear from you. Let's create beautiful memories together!

My "why"

In 2013, long before I ever picked up a camera, I lost my Dad to cancer. I was 17, my little brother was 10, and my mom in her late 30's when our world was turned upside down. We were a happy family, my parents married, and for just that I know I am very fortunate. The one thing we didn't have, or had very little of, was photos.

I have very few photos of my Dad, and virtually none of my Dad and I. It just wasn't something we thought about, until it was too late. This has forever formed how I capture my own personal photos, and even more so, my clients wedding photos.

When you think of your wedding photos, the ones that quickly come to mind as the ones you'll have in your home probably include your first kiss, or a beautiful sunset portrait with you and your partner. But I argue that the most important photo, the photo that you'll never forget, is the photo of you and your grandpa once he sees you wearing your grandmothers necklace. Or the photo of you and your Dad during your first look. The photo of your Dad smiling as he watches you dance with your Mom, and the list goes on.

If you’re just looking for someone to click a button a few thousand times, I understand. There are many incredible photographers, many of whom I consider wonderful friends, who can do that. However, if you’re seeking someone who will always listen to you, take note of your priorities, and capture the moments you want preserved forever, I’m your person.
